More Ways to Build Your List and Make Money Online

Article writing is a powerful way to build your list. A lot of people don’t do this, though, because it takes time and energy if you do it yourself. But you don’t have to do it yourself because there are many article-writing services out there for you.

For example, you can go to www.elance.com or www.guru.com , let them know your keyword and pay them to write articles for you. You should by now at least know what niche you’re going to be servicing, and then have a keyword or two that’s related to your business.

On Friday, if you didn’t see that webinar, you weren’t there live, I was doing a site on R.C. Cars – Remote Control Cars – so I used the service through Free Word Tracker. Go to Google, type in “Free Word Tracker” and then go to the keyword research tool, and then from there I typed in “R.C. Cars” and pressed “Enter,” because I like remote control cars. Up came a whole list of keywords and I selected the top 10 from that list which were all related to my niche.

I would ideally write articles, or have articles written, that incorporate those keywords and then distribute those through the Internet. If you aren’t that passionate about your subject – first of all, you shouldn’t be building a business around it – or if you’re just not a good writer, then you can do one of two things: You could get somebody to write them for you by going to guru or elance and putting up a post and saying, “Here’s the 10 keywords I need articles written for. Would you be available to do that for me?” You’d have writers bid on your job and then you can pay somebody however much it costs to get your articles written.

Depending on the quality – I can’t tell you the exact amount it will cost because it depends on the writer, how busy and how good they are – personally we’ve spent anywhere between $5 per article all the way up to $20 per article. It depends on who you’re going with and what type of reputation and quality of product they’re going to produce for you. Generally you just simply purchase them.

The second option is you could do what we’re doing right now: We’re doing a teleseminar and we’re sharing information. When this information is being recorded, we’re also getting transcripts for you. Instead of writing something (I’m not necessarily a great writer. People often joke with me a little bit, they say “You’re a good talker,” because I always enjoy expressing my opinions about things) I find it much easier to articulate what I’m thinking about versus writing it down.

I could do a quick call about remote control cars and talk about nitro gas cars and all the different upgrades you could get for them. I could do a conversation with myself, record it and send it to a transcriptionist to transcribe it, and then those transcriptions could become your articles. In fact, that’s what we do with a lot of our teleseminar series. We break the teleseminar transcription into articles and then distribute them across the Internet to generate more traffic to our website and make money online.

Strategic Sales Letters

Use a good sales letter to get subscribers. In this particular section if you look at – you’ve all been there because you’re here – www.yourmilliondollarlifestyle.com/business. This is an example of how you use a sales letter to generate more subscribers to your list.

On the sales letter you’ll notice that near the top I put an option for people to opt-in to get that Joint Venture report. The reason I did that was we had many people coming directly to the sales letter because of articles we’ve sent out or the joint venture partnerships we had promoting the website. If they’re going straight to the sales letter, I want to make sure I’ve captured their name and information somehow by giving them something of value for free. On that site near the top we gave away the teleseminar series we used to market this particular product.

It’s very simple to do with AWeber: You simply put in what data you want to collect, like name and E-mail, it gives you some code, you put that code on your web page, and then you upload your web page to the Internet.

Now when people go to your page they can see that subscription form. You should always put them on your sales letters and offer somebody either a course or something that drives them back to the sales letter through your auto responder sequence.
